Each year since 2001 I have created a cross with which to remember Christ by.
Each time, the cross is slightly different, but it often is influenced by the goings on with my life at the time. On holiday, weaving a cross with a flax plant from the house we stayed at. Running a cross shape on GPS during training for the 10km run I did. The very first cross was two branches bound together and erected on the shores of Lake Rotoiti while on NLDC.
This year, we are in the final stages of redecorating our new bathroom, and so I am in the middle of painting. Deciding exactly on which ‘white’ to use is mind-boggling, and thus makes a perfect backdrop. The colour is called ‘Divinity’. Left over strapping from the water filter packaging forms the cross.
Have a wonderful and blessed Easter.
